Nice video, amazing how close you can get to game when on the water.

When I come back from kayak fishing, with no fish, my wife says. "All that time and no fish?" She doesn't understand that it's not all about catching keeper fish. When I fished the Guad near Hunt & Ingram, I saw all kinds of wildlife, including wild turkeys, beavers and deer. The property owners there wrap their cypress trees in chain link fabric to keep the beavers from gnawing them down. I DID paddle a couple of rapids around beaver dams. Last year, in Estes Flats, I heard a lot of noise at Talley Island, and in a few minutes, there were eight wild hogs swimming across a channel, five adults and three pups. I'm always amazed when kayakers talk about their ear buds and MP3 music players they use. The birds and fish will tell you a lot if you listen. Those guys are missing a lot. Great video. IslandJim

IslandJim Thanks yes I also like to enjoy the nature sounds, I wish my camera had better sound quality. The GoPro does good but the one I use to zoom with doesnt.

Thanks for sharing.

It seems the trips I remember the most is the one that I see the most wild game. Another thing that I've found is when the wild game is about, that usually means the fish are actively feeding as well.....Find them, and the bite is on.
